Tanbyle is a medium sized continent shaped very much like a backwards seven or upside down boot. The continent is characterized by its more or less temperate climate (with the exception of the rather arid maoul (Pronounced May-ool) desert. For the most part the continent is covered in a rich and dense temperate rainforest which gives way to plains in lower areas and hilly steppes at the bases of the mountain ranges.
Of all the continents Tanbyle is one of the most diverse. As such there are many major cities dotted across the continent.
There are many geographical features on Tanbyle that are of interest to a scholar or traveller. These include mountain ranges, forests, and lakes.
